I think marketing management has to assure the marketing effectiveness of a company and its product line. Marketing effectiveness depends on a combination of five important activities. Customer philosophy: Management accepts the importance of the market place potential customer needs while tailoring the products. Organization shall comprise the staff to carryout marketing analysis, planning, implementation and control. Management should posses the efficient marketing information system so as to receive relevant information to conduct effective marketing planning and control.
Strategic Orientation: The organization shall generate innovative strategies and plans for long term growth and profitability.
